We read every message. Most replies go out within three working days. Reports of wrong markers are usually fixed in the next update of the map data.
What you can write to us about
- Wrong or missing markers. A shrine, Korok seed, chest, shop item or material that is in the wrong spot, has the wrong contents or is not on the map at all.
- Translations. A name or sentence that reads badly in Spanish, Japanese, French, German, Portuguese, Korean or Italian.
- Feature ideas. Layers, filters or guide pages you would like to see.
- Bugs. The map not loading, progress not saving or a page that looks broken on your device.
- Privacy requests. Questions about the data described in our Privacy Policy, or a request to delete an email you sent us.
- Copyright notices. If you believe something on this site uses your work without permission.
- Advertising and partnerships. Business enquiries about the site.
How to report a wrong marker
A good report lets us find and fix the problem in minutes. Please include:
- The link to the marker. Open it on the map, then press Copy link in its card. The link points straight at that marker.
- What is wrong: the position, the name, the contents of a chest, a price in a shop or something else.
- What you saw in the game, and whether you play the base game, with the DLC or in Master Mode.
- A screenshot from the game if you have one. It helps but is not required.
Positions on the map come from the game files, so a marker that looks wrong is often an item that only appears after a quest, at night or in a certain weather. We still check every report.
Before you write
- Your progress is saved in your own browser, not on our servers, so we cannot restore it for you. Use the backup code in the map panel to move it to another device.
- We cannot help with Nintendo accounts, game purchases or save files on your console.
- For gameplay questions, the guide pages and the FAQ on the map page may already have the answer.
